A discussion on Bipolar
64
I decided to add this to after reading a great article by Tatjana-Mihaela.
I wrote a long comment in to her hub and decided to publish it here and maybe add a few bits and pieces, which might enlighten some on other aspects of the diagnosis. How it can be played out can be very individual according to a persons individual character, their family, their life situation and many, many aspects of their life and experiences.
.... It is useful to be aware of natural remedies and how they may work with medication. Some vitamin B supplements actually work well for people who are not on medication, yet can cause opposing reactions when someone is on me dication. There is an addative in some vitamin tablets that are not good for Bipolar and can distort the good the vitamin is meant to do.
We made smoothies for someone with Bipolar and found that we were adding lecithin to help, yet this is good when not on medication, whilst, when on medication it can create further irritability.
Environment is also a big factor. Where this person was living, in this particular situation, this person had been living or sharing with someone who had been in prison (no value judgement here, just a note on the type of energy being bought in). That person had stuck nails in the bathroom cabinet. I removed the nails and found that when he got home from hospital, it
was like he was trying to connect to the energy that wasnt there
anymore. He couldnt get as psychotic, which was very interesting to
observe.
A week before hospital, he started saying lets put the fly screens up, he hadnt had them up for 10 years. During the first week in hospital, there were flies on the ceiling and what i was later told are moth maggots. When he was feeling better, they were not there, when he had a bad day, they were.
He also called from hospital, saying a nye wind blows, a nye wind blows on one occasion. I could feel a vibration to do with an area where there is a prison - and another vibration of a head stone.
He also called about something else and I am unsure that I should write it here, but there were a few syncronisitic elements around it. All very poignant.
The medical profession look at the symptoms and can create half of the problems with heavy medications and sedation for management rather than true healing. We do alot of walking, meditation on finding the middle etc.. and I work alot on the energetics around his situation, including ancestoral links.
The sesame seeds seem a good idea and I think carrot juice is a good natural form of vitamin B. Barrys comments on the sequence is interesting. I need to look at that from a different perspective. And I can link some very interesting events to someones manic phases.
I also note, as per discussions with the hospital, the acute treatment in Australia is aimed at getting someone home so they can function, not on recovery. The hospital stay itself can cause more harm than good. A little like what they say about chemotherapy and cancer. Sometimes the treatment is more damaging than the illness.
At home, we have worked on the intangible aspects of things. Medication is taken and not ignored. We also work alot with bringing extreme emotions back to the middle. Whats inbetween that feeling, when looking at extremes and also are currently looking at the fight and flight aspects. Which can be useful in emergency situations, yet can be triggered when not needed, understanding these can help.
The tissue salts are great and gentle. They can be used with medication and can slightly alter the body chemistry or auric field.
The medical system also works alot on reprogramming behavior when in hospital, but doesnt help with or can create behavioral distortions at home. We have worked to purposely work consciously to change behaviors that have occurred subconsciously, yet by doing so on a conscious level, so that the relearning is done firstly with full understanding of the person and so that they can manage themselves better rather than have others manipulate their behavior. Its the long path, yet it allows more self empowerment something the hospital system says they do, yet they often ignore or manipulate this to suit their own agendas or may have their own life and family matters that are projected on their patients or worklife.
What happens when symptoms or behavioral aspects of things are played out is very different than what the hospital experience is. And I have found that the hospital or medical staff are not interested in working through these factors, or have not been available to even want to know.
One presenter at a carer course said to me, we do alot of driving. I drive too, as I drive, I can work out the patterns that are surrounding something or let energy dissipate. I swim alot ot reduce the impact of the energy around the person with the diagnosis. I sit alot through energy I can feel or is acted out and just work to create a safe space and bring in calm.
Barbara Brennan
Barbara Brennan has given me some of the most amazing information to do with healing from her book Hands of Light. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I have not read the book on the energetic anatomy yet and am very pleased to see it on amazon, as I am looking at this directly now as I can see electrical energy when it is around the person I know with the diagnosis, especially in their frontal brain at times. I work to calm this energy when it is distorting.
I also used one of her techniques when visiting someone in hospital. I was watching a man I didnt know, tapping a bit manically on the nursing station window, I used a communication technique from the Barbara Brennan book and he stopped the tapping and calmly walked away from the window.

Excellent article, Salt. I could not stop reading it.
Just to add to your comment to my Hub:
many cases of BP (not all) can be healed on natural way if person did not start with medications. If she is, new problems are on the way. Even if completely mentally and emotionally balanced person would use these heavy drugs for some time, quiting them would cause all set of mental and emotional problems and behavioural disorders.
I wrote a lot of additional explanation while answering on comments in my Hub, among the others is that the new scientific researches prove that majority of BP cases have problem with thyroid gland...(but not only unhealthy thyroid causes moodiness and craziness. Many people have problem with high adrenaline levels, etc.)
Real root of the BP or any other "mental disorder" are traumatic events during the life, and so often it takes many years and a lot of effort that they get healed. Traumatic events often cause permanent imbalance of some endocrine glands. For endocrine problems, especially homeopathy have great solutions, but great are also certain herbs etc.
All people I personally know (I am not talking about online experiences) who got BP or/and schizophrenia diagnosis, got it because they never asked from the doctors for the second opinion. They accepted diagnosis, started to take medications and live for years being on cocktails of drugs which make from them - robots, because while cocktail works, emotions are suppressed.Mood changes start again when certain cocktail stops to work.
BP is not possible to generalize, because so many various mental and emotional disorders are called BP, so one case differ from other like heaven and earth- and according to that, suggested treatment.
I am big fan of Barbara Ann Brennan, used majority of her methods and they do work on amazing way.
Thumbs up for you and your so interesting Hub.
